Our Stage 2 Update on Preferred Proposals consultation closed on 28 March 2011.
Please click here to view our 'Update on and Proposed Changes to Preferred Proposals' consultation document - this is revision 3 of the document following amendments made to the HGV routes map (Figure 24, p27). In the original version of this Figure, it mistakenly showed Route 1 going through Wembdon village. It is actually proposed to route HGVs from Junction 23 via A38 Bristol Road, The Drove and the Northern Distributor Road to join the A39. In revision 2, the figure incorrectly showed the HGV route turning off the C182 at Combwich and going north through Otterhampton. The actual proposal is for the route to follow the C182 all the way to Hinkley Point. Both inaccuracies have been corrected in revision 3, and all other parts of Figure 24 are correct.
