EDF Energy has carried out a series of public consultations on its proposals for Hinkley Point C:

- 9 July 2010 to 4 October 2010 - Stage 2, Consultation on our 'Preferred Proposals'

- 1 July to 12 August 2011 – Proposed Changes to the Preferred Proposals including M5 Junction 24 and Highway Improvements in the Bridgwater Area
These have included public exhibitions and meetings with parish and town councils, relevant local authorities and local organisations. Our proposals have been shaped by feedback from consultation, as well as further development work.
Full details of all the consultations undertaken and EDF Energy’s response to are included in the full Consultation Report, which was submitted to the IPC on 31 October 2011 as part of our DCO application.
In addition to our public consultation events, we have sought to ensure that local groups and organisations continue to have a say in our plans and proposals as they develop. This is being done via representative Forums, including a Community Forum|, a Transport Forum|, Local Business Engagement Forum| and Main Site Neighbourhood Forum|.
